We’re honoured to invite you to a weekend of sacred medicine ceremonies this December in Stockholm. Once again, we welcome Carlos and his team from Spain for an intimate retreat hosted by the Yage Community. For those who have joined us before, you’ll recognise the same spirit, depth, and tradition guiding the work—rooted in profound healing and connection.
Carlos is a traditional medicine man from Putumayo, a region in southern Colombia deeply connected to the Amazon rainforest and its ancestral wisdom. His journey as a spiritual guide and healer has been shaped by years of learning and service in his community, where he has received and honoured the traditions of one of the Amazon’s Indigenous peoples with respect, commitment, and care.
He is also part of Camino al Sol, a sacred nature retreat center in the Colombian Andes dedicated to preserving and sharing these ancestral traditions.
Beyond his role as a healer, Carlos expresses the medicine through painting, music, and photography. These creative forms emerge from his deep relationship with the spirit of the medicine and serve as bridges for emotional, cultural, and spiritual connection.
His ceremonies unfold as deeply moving journeys carried by music, experiences both powerful and heart-opening. Those who have sat with him describe his presence as calm, his words as clear, and his actions as rooted in a deep reverence for life and tradition.

Retreat Details

🌸 Includes: ceremonies, plant bath, fire cleanse, bed in shared bedroom, matres in ceremony space, all meals during the retreat (breakfast, lunch, snacks)

Retreat Schedule
We recommend arriving by 5 pm to settle in and prepare for the ceremony. Individual talks with the facilitators and preparatory cleaning rituals will help create the optimal environment for your journey. The ceremonies typically commence at 10 pm, lasting until 6 am, followed by breakfast and lunch throughout the retreat.

The power of the medicine is amplified when combined with personal dedication and preparation. We recommend starting a two-week diet prior to the ceremony, encompassing not only your dietary choices but also your mental and physical practices. Engage in spiritually uplifting material, immerse yourself in nature, maintain a clean diet, and dedicate time to daily meditation.
